The Lufthansa Brand

Lufthansa Airlines

The current logo, a crane encircled in flight, was created in 1918 by Otto Firle and was part of the first German Airline that started service on 5 February 1919.  This symbol was adopted throughout the years with Lufthansa agreeing to continue with it as well.

In terms of sponsorships, Lufthansa currently sponsors Bundesliga clubs Bayern Munich as well as Eintracht Frankfurt.  They are also involved in sponsoring the German Sports Aid Foundation, promoting the athletes it sponsors.
